CHICAGO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — RCA Records has announced that Jeff Rizzo has been appointed to the post of Senior Vice President, Promotion.

In his expanded role, Rizzo will be responsible for overseeing the Top 40 format including strategy and rollout. Rizzo continues to report to Joe Riccitelli, Executive Vice President/GM, RCA Records, and will be based out of RCA's Chicago office. Prior to the promotion, Rizzo served as Vice President of Top 40 promotion.

Rizzo came to RCA through Jive Records, where he worked since 1997 when he joined the company. While at Jive, Rizzo was heavily involved in working with the entire promotion staff to break artists such as Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, R. Kelly, 'N Sync, P!nk, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake and many others. Before Jive, Rizzo began his career in 1995 as a college representative for EMI Records.

“Doing what you love to do is great, but doing it at a place you call home is a blessing. I could not be any happier working with the best roster of artists and executives in the industry. I would like to thank Peter Edge, Tom Corson and Joe Riccitelli for this amazing opportunity and look forward to contributing to the continued success of RCA," said Jeff Rizzo in a statement. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
